Volare
“Nel blu, dipinto di blu”, better known as “Volare” was the Italian candidate for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958. It didn't win, but was one of the most successful Eurovision Song Contest ever, with more than 22 million copies sold worldwide.
I particularly like the version by the Gipsy Kings, which you can hear in the video* below. The animation by Carsten Biemann is great, and his version of the lyrics hilarious. Luckily his Flash skills are a lot better than his Italian.
