Google Earth gallery

Google Earth can show us some amazing images of our planet. The images below are screenshots taken in 2005. Unfortunately since then Google tries to give us images as up to date as possible. While ordinarily this would be a good thing, the result is that today images are often a patchwork of images from different sources, which can be seen as slightly off-color. Google seems to try and compensate these artifacts, but it doesn't work for the 100%.
Also, when you zoom in Google Earth gives you a fake perspective by default, which in my opinion doesn't work very well, so I switched it off (under the ‘Navigation’ tab in the options dialog).
